We stayed at this property for the month of April 2022, while our place was under going renovations. This is a beautiful place! The unit is fully furnished with everything you need. The creek the runs beside the house adds to the nature park feel, while been a few blocks from the numerous restaurants in the heart of West Vancouver. The wood burning fireplace adds a cozy touch during colder evenings. The owners are very nice and always available if necessary.

We stayed in a one bedroom apt in West Vancouver on Haywood St and it was a great experience. The apt. was large, about 700 sq ft and very well laid out. It is in a walk out basement of a large home and has a great patio under the above deck. The home is at the end of a dead end street and sits beside a wooded area with a stream running beside it. It is very quiet and the stream is a very pleasant sound to be beside. Our stay was over Aug to October and those summer months were very pleasant in that area. We were about 6 blocks to the beach at Ambleside with great shopping and parks to wander. A large grocery store was 5 blocks down the hill and it carried everything we needed. The apt was at the bottom of a steep driveway so you must be able to navigate this to get to and from the apt. I walk with a cane and negotiated the hill with a little difficulty, but was able to do it. There was one bedroom with a great queen bed, roomy closets and a built in washer/dryer. The kitchen was small but well laid out and had every convenience that we needed. The living/dining room has a couch with a seat, side tables and a round 4 ft dining room table with 4 chairs. There is a wood bunting fireplace which we did not use. There is a small but nice bathroom with a tub/shower. There are window in every room, so lots of light. There is not much sunshine and in the summer the shade and the cool that it provided was appreciated, but not so much as the fall progressed. The outside area has a table and chairs with a small barbecue for many evenings of great hamburgers and steaks. The owner/landlord who lives above is very friendly and helpful with any problem that arose, though thankfully none did. He leaves you alone to live, but as I mentioned is there when needed. Our dog was very happy there as there were many wonderful park and streams to wander and she loved swimming in the ocean, a nice walk away. All in all, the experience was great. A very nice place to stay with all the conveniences of a small home. We would come back in the summer as we did, though the late fall and winter might be a little dreary with the shade and the rain, but there is a nice wood burning fireplace that would help keep you warm and comfortable.

This suite is a gem! I stayed here in September, 2014. It lives way larger than the stated 700 sq. ft. The suite was spotless, the sofa comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, the bathtub deep and the bed was to die for. Add to that unparalleled privacy, the relaxing sound of the creek and attentive property owners - this is a total 10!

This property was absolutely wonderful. Thanks again for helping our vacation go down in the history books as our favorite vacation yet!
