Kitsilano Neighborhood

Kitsilano developed as a  much less expensive suburban alternative to the West End.

Located in the West Side of Vancouver, along the southern shore of English Bay and Burrard Street.

Character homes and walk-up apartments where the city’s Greek community blends with old hippies and young students.

The mix is vibrant and energetic therefor making it one of Vancouver’s most popular areas to live.

The accommodations in this area include apartments with great views of Kits Beach and the ocean.

Kits is known for it’s fantastic heritage homes with quaint gardens and shaded tree lined streets.

Fourth Avenue, the main shopping street, also is a hot night spot with great restaurants and fun bars with a local feel.

Kitsilano is home to 17 parks, which include six playgrounds, an off-leash dog park and Kitsilano Beach, probably one of Vancouver’s most popular beaches. 

Close proximity to downtown Vancouver, walking distance to parks and popular Granville Island makes as a result, the neighborhood a very desirable community to live.

P.S. Kits Beach is right next to Vanier Park. Take in the attractions, then chill out for a while.
