Weren't we the lucky visitors from Ireland to be hosted by Elna in her beautiful condo in Yaletown in the last month? The accommodation ticked every box for us and the support and friendly attentiveness from our gracious host was outstanding. We had stayed locally on previous visits and knew the great local amenities on offer, ranging from close proximity to the fabulous Seawall to the easy access to shopping and transport hubs, including the nearby Canada line direct to YVR. However, the condo at The 501 was the star! It was clean, comfortable and more than adequately equipped for all our needs. Moreover, the construction work across the street, far from being obtrusive/a nuisance, provided its own form of live theater and entertainment. The only minor inconvenience was the slow escalators in the facility due to a mishap, but that was being rectified as we were leaving. We are relatively seasoned travelers and have enjoyed many good accommodation experiences. Our delightful stay at this suite tops the charts.
- Tommy & Gerri Feb 16, 2016Wow! Just...wow! To say that we enjoyed our stay at this condo would be an understatement. We absolutely LOVED the place. Elna was a gracious host, who will meet you at the door and take the time to show you around the building and answer any questions you may have. The views were amazing - and the furnishings were perfect. The fact that pets are allowed was awesome, and our dogs felt right at home. Pickles, our terrier mix, spent every afternoon out on the patio, watching the people below. Our only complaint (and it's kind of an unfixable thing) was the size of the bedroom. We felt pretty cramped in there, but moved the dresser out into the office area, and it opened up the room a lot. Elna told us to feel free to move things around to feel comfortable - and that is a great attitude to have. The condo is close to everything - Choices Market is 2 blocks down the street, the Seawall (and grassy areas for the dogs to play) are right across the street. There's even a drug store one block over. Thank you, so much, for the use of your beautiful, comfortable home - we would like nothing more than to stay there again!
